Minister Jeffery Washington is a lifelong resident of Etowah County, Alabama. He attended the Attalla City School system before moving to the Gadsden City School system, where he graduated from Litchfield High School in 1986. Following his secondary education, Minister Washington went on to attend Gadsden State Community College, and later transferred to the University of West Alabama. He also received training courses from Alabama Local Government Training Institute- Auburn University. In November of 2018, he was elected County Commissioner for District 5 – Etowah County. Minister Washington served two years as senior pastor at God First Ministries. He has served as the associate pastor of Mount Zion Full Gospel Church of Attalla, Alabama since 1995. He assists the senior pastor in preaching God’s word, as well as other pastoral duties. He also served as youth pastor. He is the founder, and host of the men’s group ‘Iron Sharpens Iron’. Minister Jeffery Washington is married to Danielle Presley- Washington.
